Coastal Scents Pink Kabuki and Tapered Crease

Have been hearing good reviews of Coastal Scents brushes for a while now...and this is my first ever Coastal Scents brush purchase :)

I just love this PINK Kabuki!

So pretty rite! :)

its a pity it isnt mine tho :( i already have a kabuki brush from Everydayminerals so i dont have enough reason to get another kabuki just bcos it is pink! *sobs*

anyway ... it costs RM29

and i bought a tapered crease brush which is said to be the equivalent of MAC 226...im not sure cos i never own any MAC brushes =\

its a fluffy brush but actually i find it to be a little scratchy :(

have yet to find time to experiment with it

How I Organize My Mineral Makeup Jars

I have been looking for a plastic casing with small little compartments in it for quite some time to store my mineral jars...I have managed to come up with quite a collection of jars that i really need a proper way to store all of them =)

So i found this in Jusco...

Its actually a little organizer for your stationaries and such...for only RM9.90! (there was another 10% disc =)

and it came with these little plastic thing for u to reorganize the space inside, if you want to...

so i arranged my minerals by foundation, blushes, concealers and eyeshadow colors! :D

For foundation, So far i have :

Top to bottom - left to right : Medium, Soft butter peach-full jar (my fav),pink tan, winged butter, buttered tan, light, ivory (2nd fav :P),light medium, soft butter peach (this is sample jar) and golden fair

My collection of blushes and bronzer:

Top to bottom : soft bronzer, jingle bells, pink ribbon and natural!

Concealers:

Top to bottom : Aussie perk me up (good for undereye bags and circles),sunlight and pearl mint (use it for primer)

Eyeshadows!

Top to bottom : scented candles, floating feathers (can use as underbrow highlighter or base),sleigh ride, christmas carol, silver bells

and lastly...

Baby bath e/s color and my one and only finishing powder from EDM :)

I really felt so happy and proud of myself for organizing my minerals that way ... and i was admiring them n tot i should also store some of my eye pigments that way too and look what happened =_=

I had to take out all the jars and wash away the pink color pigment ..grrrrr

EDM Haul!

Took advantage of the Everyday Minerals 17% discount just before Christmas 2008 and splurged on minerals and brushes =))))

love em so much....this time, it took a longer time to arrive. Usually it will take exactly 3 weeks to reach my home but this time it took 4 weeks plus...i was sooo worried!

But luckily it managed to reach me JUST before CNY!!! SO SO SO HAPPY!!! :D

Ok this time, i bought an eye shadow brush and lip scrub

1 free sample set, 3 eyeshadow colors, 1 finishing powder, 1 medium sized foundation. My small little mineral jars are accumulating!!! =) i must think of a way to store them nicely...

and for the christmas season...any orders above $17 will get these freebies!

I really love the jingle bells blush lor...it gives you a rosy glimmery finish. The rest i haven try yet 'x'

These are my e/s purchase...i actually wanted to choose golden colors cos i've been wanting to create a nice golden look for my eyes....but these are not really the gold im looking for...

Worst thing...both colors are almost similar >.< align="center">

Looks like rough but it actually sort of dissolves when you rub against your lips

It does exfoliate lips and my lips felt as if i just put on lipbalm after using it...hmm

and i really love the edm e/s brush! its flat and its very good for packing on colors on the lids!!

MAC Paint Pot,Liquid Liner and Eye Makeup Remover

Got these loot from M.A.C as my christmas 2008 present =)))

These are my first ever purchase from MAC so i m gonna do a write up on them...

I have paint pot in fresco rose...

used to hear a lot of good reviews of MAC paint pots (RM70) as an eyecolor/eye base...
i initially wanted a more nude color..more towards beige color but those are OOS :(

So the makeup artist introduce me to this dark, pinkish color which i find really nice too

It is a little shimmery and lighter once applied on the lids...i think this is a good eyecolor when you are on the go and have no time to put elaborate eye makeup...and have yet to find a good use for it as a base

I also brought back the liquid eye liner (RM65)...

I am a newbie in using liquid eyeliner and i must say this liquid eyeliner is suitable for newbies...the tip is quite firm making it easier to draw a straight thin line

i dont know why it appeared brown in this pic...its actually black :)

it should be quite fool proof if you place your hand against your cheek for support when you draw and close your eye for a few seconds after that for it to dry thoroughly...i managed to draw a decent line after 3 times....heheeh you wouldnt wanto see how i looked like the first 3 times 'x'

i also got myself an eye makeup remover (RM70)...

it's an oil based remover and it does its job...nothing more to say =)

Elianto Eyeliner and Blending Brush

I've always wanted to learn how to use the eyeliner correctly...pencil eyeliner would of course be the easiest to use but i find the effect not dramatic enough :P

So i bought liquid eyeliner few yrs ago but i still dont know the proper way to use it =_=

I finally bought a gel eyeliner few weeks ago...from Elianto

Quite cheap at only RM19.90 but i was disapointed to see that it has already dried up :(

I tried this method in my attempt to salvage my dried up eyeliner ....it managed to sort of 'heat up' the liner...but after a few days it seems to have dried up again :(

I am eyeing the MAC gel eyeliner...hehe need to save up :P

I also bought a eye blending brush from Elianto that day (RM11)

And i am quite pleased with this brush....

Very soft synthetic bristles and it makes blending and eyeshadow application a breeze!

A must have! =)
