Brush case from daiso

Finally after much procrastination I manage to arrange my makeup brushes in the brush case I bought from daiso a month ago!lol. If it was not bcos my parents are coming over this week, perhaps I would not even have got around to tidy up my brushes. Keke



Love how my brushes are looking in the new case. I m a brush hoarder I just love to buy brushes even tho I seldom use some of them 'x'

As you can see how messy my dressing table is. I need to get back to tidying up before procrastination kicks in again!!

Guardian lavender scrub

I am love with this lavender scrub from guardian.


I did not put in much thought when I bought it cos I was about to go pay up for my vitamin c at the cashier when I saw the scrub and just added it to my shopping loot without so much as read the description cos it was just sooo cheap :)

At only rm5.90!

When I reached home and tried it....I was in love with It! I love the scent of the lavender and my skin felt smooth and smelt nice after the scrub! This proves that sometimes you just don't need expensive products do you? :P

NYX Eyeshadow Trio (Yelow Pearl/Antique Gold/Golden)

So i have been on the lookout for THE perfect gold eyeshadow...so i took the chance with this NYX eyeshadow trio (rm21 excl postage)

i could only look at the picture of the color on the website and i cant really be sure whether it is the gold i want...

and lucky for me...it is QUITE near to what i have in mind =)

my search for the gold e/s is almost over! 'x' i m referring to the middle color...the antique gold. all 3 colors are shimmery . i would have done swatches on my hand but it is not easy to take pictures of swatches with a dslr...so i gave up 'x'

here's another pic with flash...but the focus is out...and i m lazy to retake the photo, so you'll just have to make do with this. the most important thing is MY gold color is in focus! :D

Coastal Scents and Nyx Purchase

Ok..i went a teeeeenny weeny bit out of control last month and spent too much on buying cosmetics online...wahahaa

I bought some stuff from Coastal Scents and some from Nyx ...

Soooo nicely packed..and i just love the customized little stickers all around the package :)

You see the malaysianbeautystore.com sticker on the parcel rite? when i went to collect it from the post office :

Guy : yala, ah moi memang suka cantik punya ho?
Me : ....

anyhoo...here's my purchase! :)

I bought : a pink angled liner brush and angled white liner brush and a gel liner from CS. an eyeshadow trio and nyx lip gloss :D

I don't particularly think of this as a bronzing powder. To me, its more like a glowy powder to give your cheeks that light reflecting effect :P

Perhaps i should get it in a darker tone in order for this to work as a bronzer for me

But i did try it with blush and it gives my blush a more glowy effect :D Much like what a shimmery blush would do...only less shimmery which is good

It's actually an angled blush brush...i find it a little scratchy :(

BUT...it allows me to apply blush more evenly and naturally!

Now i know the importance of using an angled blush for brush! Perhaps i should invest more in a better brush :P

ELF Studio Eye Primer & Liner Sealer

I think this is a special item...

It is an eye primer on one side...

and a liner sealer on the other end...

If you are wondering what's a liner sealer, it actually allows you to turn your eyeshadow into eye liner. I have not tried it yet tho :P

But i have tried the eye primer...it does makes my e/s color more vivid and more staying power. Tho i cant say for sure whether its the best of eye primer cos this is my first! :)

Coastal Scents Pink Kabuki and Tapered Crease

Have been hearing good reviews of Coastal Scents brushes for a while now...and this is my first ever Coastal Scents brush purchase :)

I just love this PINK Kabuki!

So pretty rite! :)

its a pity it isnt mine tho :( i already have a kabuki brush from Everydayminerals so i dont have enough reason to get another kabuki just bcos it is pink! *sobs*

anyway ... it costs RM29

and i bought a tapered crease brush which is said to be the equivalent of MAC 226...im not sure cos i never own any MAC brushes =\

its a fluffy brush but actually i find it to be a little scratchy :(

have yet to find time to experiment with it
